COVID-19

The building management continues to take proactive steps to help minimize any possible spread of the Coronavirus and other infectious diseases. Some of the measures and precautions taken at Energy Tower are:

• With the help of our janitorial team, we implemented more frequent surface cleaning and sanitizing using hospital grade disinfectant in all areas (door handles, elevator call buttons, etc.). Increased frequency of cleaning practices, especially in restrooms, kitchens, and other shared common areas
• NanoSeptic® Self-Cleaning Surface skins are utilized and maintained throughout the common areas (building entrance and stairwell door handles and push bars, elevator call buttons, restroom entry push plates and exit handles, conference center and fitness center entrance and exit handles) For more information, please visit www.nanoseptic.com.
• Additional hand sanitizing stands have been installed and promoted their use for all elevator lobbies of each floor
• Offer and assist tenants with any additional deep cleaning options for the interior of their suites
• Provide continued information on the Coronavirus situation, including some action steps employees/tenants can take to maintain a healthy workplace
• Informative signage on how to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus str posted throughout the building. Additional signage recommending the usage of face covering and social distancing in the elevators/common areas have been placed accordingly
• Limited restroom facility and elevator usage to 2 persons at a time
• Follow all local state regulations concerning fitness center and dining restrictions/guidelines
• Eliminated non-essential vendor and or contractor activity inside the building to reduce unnecessary interaction
• Increased preventative maintenance on building HVAC to include:
  • Cooling coil cleaning on all building air handlers
    
  • Opened all air distribution dampers/diffusers and directed to provide better air flow
    
  • Changed blower wheel to increase velocity of outside air flow
    
  • Regularly wiping down of all air distribution diffusers
    
  • Continually replace MERV-13 Filters (highest rated filter efficiency designed for the equipment) used in the building, designed to collect 90% of all particulates
    
  • All equipment cleaned using Evapfresh, a cleaning product applied directly to help disinfect and kill the Corona Virus
